1:1 Device instructions for the end of the year...

1:1 year-end device procedures video: We need to make a video to make sure everyone knows the following facts about how the 1:1 devices will be collected at the year's end.

Procedures for Graduating Seniors
• 1:1 devices must be returned to the High School Library by Friday June 12th 2:30 PM.
o Any stickers placed on the device by the student should be removed.
o Power cords must be returned. A $30 fee will be required for any device returned without a power cord..
• Any student who does not return their 1:1 device will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
• All returned devices will be re-imaged and “wiped clean”, so no student data will be shared. Students may opt to remove/delete any data from the device, if they deem necessary.
• Any student who returns a device with intentional damage, will be obligated to pay for the repair of the device.
• NOTE: Senior Student Google Accounts will be deleted on June 30th. Students should move all vital data to another source.

Procedures for returning Students
• Students may opt to take their device home for the summer.
o Students are bound to all rules and policies for use of the device during the summer months, just as during the school year.
o Students will be financially responsible for any lost or stolen devices that are not able to be recovered by our theft protection service.
o Students are expected to have their device in working order for the start of school in August. For any issues that arise during the summer, students can email help@nhsd.org to schedule an appointment to bring in their device for troubleshooting.
• Students who are not opting to take their 1:1 device home for the summer can check them into the High School Library no later than Tuesday, June 16th.
