Foreign Policy interview from April 2007: This interview comments directly on observations about "Fundamentalists" and "Fundamentals"; it also give you a view of his politics and attitudes toward European and American reactions to Muslims.
Fresh Air Interview: For those of you who prefer to listen to his voice and here about some of his experiences first hand, this is the place. If you give this a listen, I am sure you will have a whole new perspective on the writer and the man.
Powell's essay: Here he talks about writing the book. What is important is he discusses how he started it before 9/11 and revised it (heavily) after the terror attacks and the Pakistan/India tensions that are so prominent in the novel.
Why do they hate us essay: This is a valuable read if you were looking for a perspective on how others see the United States. Some of this has been touched upon in class, and I am sure this will prove to be valuable food for thought.
